Solar Powered Brilliant Walklight Kit
This small Solar Powered Walklight Kit is much brighter than the common solar walklight and it features three brilliant white LEDS that produce over 10,000 mcd (millicandelas) luminous intensity each. These white LEDS glow brilliantly when it gets dark for up to 10 hours each night from the charge stored in the powerful 3.6V 750mAh NiMH battery (hours of glowing may be reduced in areas of the country with less daily sunshine). Each day the battery recharges again from the suns output on the 2 small solar panels on the top of the kit. The kit sits on top of a stainless steel 6mm diameter 17" long rod that you tap into the ground. Overall size of finished kit is about 4"L x 2.4"W x 1.7"Tall (excluding rod). Note this kit uses a PC board that is purposely not drilled (the components mount directly to the foil pads to keep out moisture) and we recommend covering the electronic parts with Household Goop (not included - available in the glue section in most stores) to protect them from moisture. Complete with all parts, solar panel, battery, rod and instructions. Skill Level 2.
