3 Slot AC Outlet Tester Kit
This very useful tester checks outlets for 6 different faults or safety hazard conditions and displays the results. Uses bright “orange glow” neon lamps to indicate if ground is connected or if hot and neutral are reversed plus other wiring conditions or faults.
This kit is a compact and very useful accesssory for any tool box. Size of PC board : 2” x 2”. Comes complete with a Type 1 clear plastic box that the student can drill or file a hole in (to allow the AC cord to go into box) and then mount the completed board inside. A supplied label completes the project and allows you to have a handy, ready to go tester that will check any 120VAC outlet in the house.
Complete with all parts, PC board, undrilled plastic box and instructions. Operates from 120VAC. Please be aware that this kit operates on AC voltage and necessary AC safety precautions should be observed. Skill Level 2.
