Did you ever wonder about the limitation of human hearing? At best we can only hear from about 20Hz up to 20,000Hz, and most of us cannot even hear frequencies (sounds) past 15,000Hz.
Our Deluxe Ultrasonic Sniffer Kit uses a frequency division 4 IC circuit to convert all ultrasonic frequencies (up to 150kHz) to an audible frequency we can hear. Now you can hear what a dog whistle sounds like. Shake several coins or keys and you'll be amazed at the sound. Early TV remotes and modern digital distance measuring devices use ultrasonic frequencies. This kit can even be used to check for high pressure air leaks and can be used to listen to some mammals (like bats) that produce ultrasonic sounds.
This deluxe kit comes complete with a case with speaker and operates on one 9V Battery (not included). Comes complete with all parts, PC board, case and instructions. Size of PC board: 2.1” x 1.4”. Size of case: 4.8” x 3.3” x 1.2”. Skill Level 2.
