Deluxe Exploration Labs

Deluxe Exploration LabsChaney Exploration Labs use reusable solder-less breadboards that give students hands on experience with electronic parts. Through the completion of hands on lab exercises, students can see tangible results of applied theories. Each Deluxe Exploration Lab comes complete with all necessary electronic components and a detailed manual that guides the student through a series of experiments. Each manual is fully illustrated with easy-to-follow pictorial diagrams and schematics and every experiment has been designed to teach the student specific concepts of electronics. The labs are suitable for use in elementary grades up through college, and each lab is designed to be used repeatedly by different students.

After completing the deluxe exploration labs, most instructors introduce their students to soldering with our Learn to Solder Kits.

Learn to Solder Kits

Learn to Solder KitsIntroduce the basic concepts behind proper soldering technique, component identification, and circuit operation. Students with no prior soldering experience will learn how to solder using real electronic components and can even build a functional electronic circuit to show for their efforts. For beginning students, we recommend to use first the C6774 Soldering Activity Kit, and then either the C6445 Learn to Solder Kit or the C6491 Deluxe Learn to Solder Kit. For more advanced students who are interested in learning about Surface Mount Technology, we recommend our C6758 Universal Learn to Solder Kit that uses both SMD and standard components, or our C6719 Deluxe SMD Learn to Solder Kit.

When you have provided your students with training in soldering, you will want to give them the opportunity to build functional educational electronic project kits.
